“Holy Grail” hair products

I’ve been blogging for almost 2 years now and I tried my share of products. I’ve always given my honest opinion on products I try on my hair and these products I’m going to mention in this post are the top ones I tend to reach for every wash day.

TreLuxe Untie the Knot ($18.50), ReFlex Serum ($18.50), and HI! definition gel ($17):

These products are THE BEST I’ve tried while on my curly journey. It’s lightweight and extremely moisturizing. TreLuxe is a brand I often recommend to every hair type since it caters to everyone. All three work great together (The ReFlex serum first,a small pump of the Untie the Knot, and a little of the gel.)

Giovanni Leave In conditioner ($7.99):

This leave in is EVERYTHING. I have thin strands that can be weighed down easily and look thin so I use this when I want a carefree curl look. It’s lightweight and moisturizing. This makes my hair feel thicker and stronger most likely due to the protein in it. It’s very affordable and has great ingredients.

TRESemme Naturals Conditioner ($4.99):

Tresemme had a HIT with this one and sadly, they discontinued this. I debated whether or not I should include it due to it being discontinued but I still have it in my product stash and I find myself reaching for it. It’s thick but moisturizing. There’s no silicones in this so it doesn’t cause buildup. It was one of the best drugstore conditioners but I don’t know why Tresemme would discontinue such an amazing product.

Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner and Shampoo ($3.99 each):

These two are my absolute favorite duo and this is the combo I use every time I’m doing someone’s hair or even my hair. I love these two together but what I like about these is that I can use a different cleanser with the conditioner and it still works perfectly. I use a deep conditioner with the shampoo often and it cleans my scalp very well. These are extremely affordable and the ingredients are top notch. The shampoo has no sulfates or silicones and the conditioner has no silicones.

Pantene 2-minute Moisture Masque($5):

I don’t know what it is about this masque but my hair loves it! I can easily detangle my hair with this and it moisturizes it so well. I found that silicone deep conditioner work better for my hair and this one is the one I come back to every time. This is now repackaged in a tube, which is not an upgrade because this jar lasts me forever. I will continue to repurchase this as long as it’s on the shelves.

Carols Daughter Marula Curl Therapy Gentle Cream Cleanser ($18):

This is my go to when I feel like my hair doesn’t need to be shampooed but it still needs something to gently cleanse it. This cleanser is more like a cowash. It works perfectly paired with the Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Conditioner and it makes my hair SO SOFT. The cleanser lasts a while because it’s not something I use all the time due to me having to shampoo almost every wash day but it does an amazing job when I don’t need a deep cleansing for my scalp.
